Since its abrupt transition from CS: GO to CS:2, despite players’ many complaints, the game has kept growing and growing. In January 2024, it even had 12 million different players in a day, making it the most-played game on Steam at some point lucky tiger reviews. That’s not too bad, considering it only had half of that two months prior.
Respawn’s Apex Legends stealth dropped out of nowhere and then proceeded to take the battle royale genre by storm. It proved the perfect recipe of compelling gameplay, AAA production quality, and a free-to-play business model that saw it succeed in temporarily dethroning Fortnite and PUBG as the most-played and most-watched multiplayer games.
When you look at how developer miHoYo has supported the game since its launch, though, it’s perhaps not so surprising to see just why its audience loves the experience so much. An incredible amount of new content has been added, featuring all-new storylines, characters, areas to explore, and all sorts of different events and challenges fleshing out the package. It’s even brought me back to the gacha action throughout the years, just to see what’s next for the beloved characters.
In terms of monthly active players, the number is obviously larger. Much larger. Roblox has a consistent player base of about 200 million across PC and mobile devices. Like Minecraft, people love it for its almost metaverse quality in that it delivers all manner of different gameplay experiences, the majority of them designed by members of its community.

The Scott Pilgrim game plays a lot like Streets of Rage or Double Dragon. You wander through city streets and movie sets, fighting a whole bunch of “bad guys,” ranging from bus drivers to paparazzi. You can jump, punch, and kick, and pick up many objects to use as weapons, whether it’s a snowball or a baseball bat. You can also play as most of the main cast of characters, and they’ll each learn some new abilities as you progress. There are even level and character select screens ripped straight out of the 8-bit Super Mario games, and Street Fighter-style car smashing mini-games.
IGN praised the game’s style and soundtrack but criticizing its lack of online multiplayer or drop-in play. They later named it the 25th best game on Xbox Live Arcade in 2010. Similarly, 1UP.com criticized the PS3 version’s difficulty and need for grinding. Joystiq said of the same console version that “they couldn’t recommend it any higher, especially at 10 bucks.” Game Informer called the same console version “the best modern brawler since Castle Crashers.”

World game
When you expand the scope of your geographic studies to the entire world, things can get tricky. Seterra has a collection of engaging geography quizzes that will help you learn all the world’s countries, its 50 most populous countries, and its 30 largest countries by area. There’s a lot of variety here—you can focus on the flags of the worlds, or its deserts, Islands, mountain ranges, and rivers.
WorldGuessr is a unique geographical exploration game that lets you travel the world from home. Using Google Street View technology, you can roam around the globe, observe different cultural features, and enhance your geographical knowledge.
The strategy paper ‘Growth Beyond Excellence’ sets the guidelines with regard to the sports programme and the number of participants. The maximum permitted number (including athletes and technical officials) for the sports programme of TWG 2025 and onwards will be increased from 4,200 to 5,000. In principle, this number will include 4,000 participants proposed by the IWGA Member Federations. The remaining 1,000 participants will be divided as follows:
Worldle is a geographic spin-off of Wordle created by 31-year-old game developer Antoine Theuf. At first, users were confused by the similarity of the names of the games, but in fact they are very different. The main difference between the two is that in Worldle, players must target countries rather than words. Interestingly, the “father” of Worldle is not well versed in geography, and in his work he was inspired by Wordle and GeoGuessr. After launching in January 2022, Worldle quickly went viral with thousands of users playing Worldle every day. Territory silhouettes are updated every day in Worldle from OpenSource maps and a standardized set of country codes created by the International Organization for Standardization, so you can improve your geographic skills every day in this game!
